The Mysterious Smile

Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting has inspired romantic songs and art lovers the world over, who become captivated by the Mona Lisa's enigmatic smile. The smile of Mona Lisa is so amazing and mysterious.

The smile of Mona Lisa is so magical but intriguing. When I looked at the picture of the painting, I can say that she is happy, she is sad or mixed of emotions. Her face is so beautiful as well as her eyes. Her curly hair, I love it. But the most attracting thing in the painting is her smile. I think no one can copy that smile.

The painting became famous because or her smile. It’s really amazing.

Meeting Rizal

It was a very serene midday when I got into a restaurant, spending my time in doing school works while having my lunch. I sat on the next table, which is occupied by man who is wearing a hat and tuxedo. A very serious and influenced man who is reading a newspaper and seems to be thinking of something. At first glance, you won’t noticed that he is one of the most historical person, ‘cause he don’t really show his ideal look. But, when you look to him in straight and prudently, you would really know him. He noticed me of looking at him in a curious way. I wasn't expecting of meeting him. It was not just of meeting him, he stand off where he is and sat on the opposite chair where I was sitting. He then, talked to me and said “ Aren't you’re a high school student, right?” and I simply answered “Yes, Sir.” Who would be thinking of that a very famous hero of our country would be having a dialogue to a simple third year student.

As we started the conversation, he asked me of why do I keep on staring at him. I answered “Sir, I knew it was you though you hide a little bit of your look. But, I knew it was you.” It was so grateful of meeting him. Talking about so many things, especially about studies and our nation. Then, he also shared about his life. Where did he spend the most important part of his career and the contributions to our country; in the history of our country. I also take advantage of this exceptional meeting to him. I had open questions and opinions about philosophy. Nowadays, we are facing challenges which would be interesting and proficuous to hear Dr. Jose Rizal’s opinion about them anyhow. After those conversations, he asked me of going somewhere where he would show me some of his works and spend some of our time discussing those matters.

But one could ask me, why expressively choosing Dr. Jose P. Rizal for this, and not some other great heroes of our country from history, like Bonifacio and Aguinaldo. Giving a perfectly rational reason is impossible for me. But if one carefully considers the life of Dr. Jose Rizal from an historical point of view, he would certainly remark that only Jose Rizal has been at the same time a multidisciplinary talent of highest level and a quite recent figure in history.

Circle of Violation (SCHOOL)

It’s a dark morning when I arrived in school. When I went down from my service, I saw a gate of darkness. I entered. There was a scary voice saying, “ Welcome to the gate of darkness and you will see the major violations in school”.

As I continue walking, I saw the 1st circle of violation and it is called THE CHEATERS. The souls here are the souls of the people who cheated. The 2nd circle is called THE UNFOLLOWERS. The souls here are the souls of the persons who did not follow the rules of the school. The 3rd circle is called THE BACKSTABBERS. The souls here are those who back stabbed the teachers and the other school members. The 4th circle is called THE BULLIERS. The souls here are those who did bullying. The 5th circle is called NOISY STUDENTS. Here are those who are noisy inside the room or everywhere in the school and talking about nonsense. The 6th circle is called THE LATE COMERS. Here are those who are late in flag ceremonies and classes. The last circle is called THE TEXTERS. Here are those who are texting while having classes.

After I saw the circle of violation, I saw the exit gate. I went out of the Gate of Darkness.
